Everyone prepares for labour. Almost nobody prepares properly for the six weeks afterwards.
This session is all about preparing you for life with your new baby — from your own recovery to newborn care, feeding and those first few days at home.
We’ll cover recovery following different types of birth, what to expect during the newborn phase, feeding, nappies and essential newborn care, as well as what is normal and when you may need to seek further support.
We’ll also focus on the partner’s role in the fourth trimester — including facilitating rest, protecting your boundaries, and supporting both mum and baby.
Because preparing for your baby doesn’t stop when they’re born.
